JR² Studio

Just a quick one... As you know, JR ² recently spent some time in the big 'M-Town' (Malton, Yorkshire) on a week long residency. I won't lie, it was pure madness. A very busy week for the team with 2 songs on repeat. In this week a major question arose, the question being 'have YOU ever got the ICK?' which inspired a little glass drawing thing on the wall in this picture.  I know, you're probably thinking 'JR² my friends, what is the ICK?' The ick is where you get right put off of a love interest when they do something a bit like cringe yano what I mean?? Like; WheN theY RuN for BUS.  😷 Init awful. Thing is right once you're married with kids it's fine to run for bus, but when you're on a date for first time please please please never run for the bus. Cause JR ² will make work about it.  If JR² never achieve anything else, please let it just be that at least one person takes note of this post and never runs for the bus. Cheers, big lov...

2 job NELLY. 1 job NELLY. 0 job NELLY. So it has been quite a while since JR² posted on here and a lot has happened since. Firstly, they’ve been really clever and finished their degrees in Fine ART. Secondly, they’ve just finished their first residency at AHH in Malton, which was mint. 7 days in Malton really proved to JR² how hungry they are to get back in the studio and get back to consistently making work. It was also nice for the duo to TRY play guitar again, got to be said that ‘J’ is much better and ‘R’ needs a lot of practice. Anyway, they got to the studio, put their tunes on and the work started to happen. They’ll probably put a few posts up of what they made during their time there. How many tubes of oil paint can JR² use on one piece? As many as they want. Malton was the first time since March that the pair had been able to create work, and I think you’d be able to tell.
